IMEI番号でiPhoneをUnlockしてくれるサービス、終了？
2011年4月11日頃からあちこちのウェブサイトで始まった「iPhoneのIMEI番号を教えてくれれば、どこの国のどのキャリアにSIMロックされてるiPhoneでもSIMロック解除する。（手数料$160～180）」と言うサービスは、２、３日前からいくつかのサイトが注文を受け付けなくなりました。
そして、その代表的なサイト、

は、今日（現地2011年4月20日）、「既にSIMロック解除処理が行われていない注文者に対しては、返金処理を始める」ことをそのウェブサイトおよびツイッターで告知しています。

Today we have decided discontinue the service we offered for remotely unlocking any iPhone. For the customers who already paid, and received their unlocks a few days ago, they do not need to do anything because they made the cutoff for our service. All customers who paid via PayPal or Google Checkout will be refunded. Due to the high number of orders we had, please allow some time before receiving your cancellations/refunds.
We do plan on offering iPhone unlocking services in the near future after we send out cancellations and refunds, but the service will be different, it will be for iPhones locked to certain carriers（注:cutyoursimのツイッターサイトでは、「英国、イスラエルなど（契約上、キャリア・アンロックがもともと許されている国）に限られるだろう」とコメントされています。）.
